Dear Lynne: You are so right!
Thanks Lynne for the encouraging reminder.
As always, a strong and very clear message, Lynne. Thank you for the reminder.
Dear Lynne, a wonderful analogy and a lesson for all of us to heed.
Keep writing.
Blessings.
Lynn, thanks for a very meaningful devotion. I had major back reconstruction and am still fighting pinched nerves so I can relate to your story. Too often we forget to let God be our leader and forget the back brace was to help us in our recovery.
Lynne, this is wonderful and I'm sure I won't be the only one that thinks this way about it. Your sharing with us today is awesome and thank you for the great reminder. May God continue to bless you and you continue to share with us.
Thankyou Lynne:
Your devotional is very appropriate in the lenten season.
Your back brace is a visual symbol representing the cross which not only supported Jesus, but which also supports so many Christians in spriritually uplifting ways.
Easter blessings.
Good one Lynne!
Yes we all need God to brace us up from time to time.
I can identify with your back problem.
Blessings and have a great Easter.
Good Morning Lynne:
Truer words were never spoken. So often we become complacent and think we are self sufficient, treating God like a buddy, forgetting to keep Him close at hand and remembering the importance of our daily fellowship and contact with Him. We often allow Him to only walk in the shadow of our lives until something happens and then we realize how neglectful and unkind we have been to the most important friend we will ever have. Too often we place our Lord on a shelf and only call upon His glorious name when we are in trouble.
Your words "We get lulled into a false sense of security that we are strong enough in our faith that we don't need the regular spiritual support of things like praise, prayer, fellowship, worship, and study, until one day, we wake up and realize that we have fallen into grave danger" are wise and challenging. We as Christians should adhere to your words or warning and always place Christ first in our lives.
A devotional warning us against being delinquent in our daily walk with He who is the King of Kings, our Redeemer and our Very Best Friend.
Have a blessed Easter and thank you for your many fine devotionals.

Re: Ignition by Rod Marshall, Friday, March 30, 2012

Dear Rod:
Thank you for once again reminding us to be prepared, and of God's faithfulness when we are caught up short.
How often I seem to need His bailouts.
Blessings.

Excellent, Rod!
Yes, the story of the 10 virgins is quite appropriate.
My wife gets after me for reading the obituaries but it is amazing to see how many young people are in there - most due to some unforeseen accident. So, we must be prepared always for God to grab our ticket and yell to His angels "Order Up!"
God speed and keep 'em coming,
(Texas)
